Ten years since the attack on World Trade Center, the world looks very different. Prof. Aijaz Ahmad explains to Newsclick the politics and agenda behind this change.

Prof. Vijay Prashad from Trinity College, CT, USA talks about the terrorist killings and bombings orchestrated by Norwegian Eurofascist Anders Breivik. He comments upon the Norwegian peoples' response to these killings and compares it with right wing and general public reaction after the 9/11 attacks in the US. He also explains the irrationale behind the Islamophobic, anti-Marxist, anti-multiculturalist mindset shared by fascists like Breivik.

The Abbottabad Operation not only ended the American quest for the most wanted fugitive in the world, it also exposed the ‘incompetence’ of Pakistan’s military establishment. 

When leading Pakistan lawyer Aitzaz Ahsan who had led the movement for the restoration of the judiciary said at a recent peace conference held in New Delhi that there were at least 40,50,60 locals who had helped a handful of Pakistanis execute the Mumbai terror attack, there was quite a stir amongst the audience. Indian Muslims in particular were concerned enough for some of them to approach Ahsan later and ask him if he had evidence to substantiate what he had said. It appeared he had not and was merely re-stating what the Pakistani establishment has tried to maintain in an attempt to divert Indian attention back into the Muslim mohallas and gali’s of India.<
