The CBI, on Thursday, July 11, raided the residence of noted Supreme Court lawyer and former Additional Solicitor General of India Indira Jaising and offices of Lawyers Collective, an NGO run by her husband Anand Grover, for alleged violations of the The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) rules. Indian Writers’ Forum had earlier interviewed Warisha Farasat- a New-Delhi based advocate, who shared her views on the episode of Lawyers’ Collective getting targeted by the Modi government.
