Bezwada Wilson in conversation with Prabir Purkayastha talks about Manual Scavenging, the inhumane practice that it is and how it is forced upon the lower caste. With the upcoming Swachh Bharat Abhiyan new aims of building toilets, the already burdened scavengers will get an added job of cleaning the new toilets. He remarks on how the government has no plans to tackle this problem and the lack of technology advancements in this area would result in a perpetual oppression of this particular class of people.
