Polling has dipped to a mere 2.42% in the last phase of Kashmir polls. The Joint Resistance Leadership had given a valley-wide call for boycott on April 13, calling the election process "futile." This phase also saw immense violence on the streets and in the polling booths. In the previous phase of Kashmir polls, the voter turnout was recorded at 9.79% until 7 p.m.
