A few days ago a Muslim youth was murdered in Haryana's Nuh, one of the most backward districts in the country. Since then, efforts have been made by right-wing organisations to give a communal colour to this incident. In the midst of all this, a civil convention in favour of communal harmony and justice was organised. Slogans like 'Bhaichara Ekta Zindabad' were raised at Gandhi Park in Nuh on Sunday. A large number of working women, men and youth participated in it. Together they resolved to maintain unity among citizens and defeat the conspirators. Here is Newsclick's ground report.
