The villagers from Suchetgarh – a village located along the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir – have been deprived of basic health facilities. Whether for injuries sustained during the mortar shelling or for snake bites, the locals are asked to go to Jammu town for treatment. Over the past five years, the village has witnessed a growing water crisis as well.
