Tourism industry has been suffering immensely in Kashmir since the abrogation of Article 370. Non-Kashmiri traders were asked to leave the state, which meant that they had to shut down their shops and businesses.

On October 10, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the  tourist activities in Kashmir will resume, but the ground reality is different.
