On January 30, 1948, communal fascists targeted the Father of the Nation. Since then, they remained at the fringes of Indian politics and society for a long time. However, the past few years have witnessed their resurgence in mainstream politics. This year, blood was spilt on January 30 again. It is a part of an unfinished project, their real target being the Indian Constitution. Senior journalist Urmilesh talks about the firing incident at a peaceful march from Jamia to Raj Ghat on January 30.
