Senior journalist Bhasha Singh spoke to the combative journalist-writer Priya Ramani, who defeated former union minister M.J. Akbar in a legal battle this week. On February 18, a Delhi court ruled in favor of Ramani and dismissed a criminal defamation case filed by Akbar and said that there was nothing more precious than a woman's honour and that a woman can file a case of sexual harassment when she chooses to. Ramani accused Akbar of sexually harassing her, following which many woman journalists spoke up about their experiences as well.
