Hundreds of children of Rohingya refugees living in camps in Jammu have been forced out of school due to the detention. The refugees had set up schools in the camps for their children. However, after around 170 Rohingya refugees were detained, including the parents of some students, the schools have been shut. With more detentions feared the possibility that they will reopen is meagre. The students seem to have lost all hope. They are desperate to resume their education but fear that if the crackdown continues they may never even see the schools again.
