Small Finance Banks Are Squeezing the Common Man: CP Krishnan

These banks are sucking the blood of the common man, says CP Krishnan, general secretary, Bank Employees Federation of India (Tamil Nadu unit).

"Modi government has granted licenses to 20 small finance banks. The successive central governments have undermined the significance of the public sector banks. Granting license to small finance banks is [done in order] to loot the customers. These banks are not serving the poor. Rather, they are sucking the blood of the common man," says CP Krishnan, general secretary, Bank Employees Federation of India, (Tamil Nadu unit) during a conversation with NewsClick.
