'TN Govt's Apathy Forced Us to Start Protest'

In continuation of their consistent struggle for their long-pending demands, around 32,000 differently-abled people in Tamil Nadu, under the banner of Tamil Nadu Association for the Rights of All Types of Differently Abled and Caregivers (TARATDAC), participated in protests across the state.

In continuation of their consistent struggle for their long-pending demands, around 32,000 differently-abled people in Tamil Nadu, under the banner of Tamil Nadu Association for the Rights of All Types of Differently Abled and Caregivers (TARATDAC), participated in protests across the state. They occupied more than 180 government offices in different parts of the state for two days on February 8-9, 2021, putting forth their rightful demands, which include financial assistance, guarantee employment as committed by the government among others.
