Following a Supreme Court order, the Delhi Development Authority demolished an almost 500-year-old Sant Ravidas Temple in Delhi's Tughlaqabad. Thousands of Dalits participated in a protest called by several Dalit organisations against the DDA's actions today in Delhi's Ramleela Maidan. They are demanding the re-building the temple at the same site.
