Jan Swasthya Abhiyan (Delhi), in its recently released People’s Health Manifesto, calls for focus on provision of Comprehensive Universal Health Care, which is accessible to every individual, free of personal payments. JSA (Delhi) demands that every push towards privatisation and the discredited ‘insurance model’ must be desisted. “We demand that the Right to Health and Health Care for all people of Delhi be the overarching principle of health policy discourse in the state. We urge political parties to commit to the demands raised in People’s Health Manifesto 2020,” read the manifesto.
