FC Goa went down 0-4 to Persepolis in a Group E clash of the 2021 AFC Champions League (ACL) at the Fatorda stadium on Friday. Shahriyar Moghanlou (24') and Mehdi Torabi (43' pen) gave the Iranian outfit a two-goal lead in the first half. Isa Alkasir (47') and substitute Kamal Kamyabinia (58') added to the tally after the break with Goa having no answer to the Iranian side's quality on the pitch, sliding to their second consecutive defeat. The Indian side had lost 1-2 to Yahya Golmohammadi's Persepolis on Tuesday.
