Today AIDWA women were detained in New Delhi while protesting against the violence of the BJP government in Kerala, after two women entered the Sabarimala temple. The BJP called for a complete shutdown in the state post entry, and several commoners and journalists were attacked during this hartal. All this was following the historic Women's Wall where over 50 lakh women of Kerala came together to form a wall on January 1, against them being denied entry into the Sabarimala shrine.
