The region has been under a lockdown since August 5, 2019, when Article 370 was abrogated by the Centre, and the transport sector has been reeling under the crisis since then, with now COVID-19 putting a damper on any hope of revival of tourism anytime soon. NewsClick spoke with a few drivers who work at the tourist taxi stands in Srinagar about how they are coping with the financial and livelihood loss.
