Bihar's voters have united to oust the JD(U) and its ally BJP from Bihar, Dipankar Bhattacharya, CPI (ML) general secretary, tells Newsclick in an interview. The left-backed Opposition 'grand alliance' is gathering massive crowds because people are fed up with unemployment, lockdowns, floods, and the sheer apathy of the ruling Nitish Kumar government, says Bhattacharya. "The huge crowds at Tejashwi Yadav's rallies are a reflection of how we have united people, who were already prepared to shed all distinctions and divides to defeat Nitish Kumar," he says.
