'BJP Govt Should Show Mercy on Myanmar, Mehbooba'
The Government of India has refused to issue a passport to former J&K Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. Senior journalist Abhisar Sharma says that this is not the right policy for Kashmir. In another incident, a ruthless order of the Manipur Government has come to the fore which stated that no help would be extended to refugees fleeing from Myanmar, but the order was later withdrawn. Meanwhile, a couple of days earlier, dozens of children and citizens were killed in an Army firing in the neighbouring country, which recently witnessed a military coup.
