The civilian who had received bullet injuries during the gunfight reportedly succumbed to his injuries.
In the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attack, in a gunfight between the forces and the militants, four army men including an officer, three militants and a civilian were killed in Pinglena of Pulwama district. As per reports, a joint team of 55 Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF and Special Officers’ Group of Jammu and Kashmir police led the ambush, following a tip-off about the presence of militants.
