Common People Are Sinking Into The Cycle of Inflation

The government data on retail inflation for the month of March has come. This data shows that the retail inflation rate is at its highest in the last 17 months. Inflation has been consistently above 6% for the last three months. In March, it increased to 6.95%. That is, for the last three months, the inflation rate has remained above the upper limit fixed by the Reserve Bank. Technical jargon such as this blurs our understanding of the effect of inflation.
