If you want people to adhere to their Constitutional duties, the government has to ensure that citizens' rights are protected and upheld. People have to question the policies and laws that are against their fundamental rights and which violate the basic values and principles of the Constitution of India, says Professor Dr Madabhushi Sridhar Acharyulu, dean, School of Law, Mahindra University, Hyderabad and former Central Information Commissioner, in an interview with NewsClick.
