The CPI(M) has alleged that BJP/RSS cadres had been extremely violent during the first phase of Tripura elections that were held in Tripura West constituency. The party also claimed that this isn't the first time the Left has faced violence from the BJP/RSS, that a continuous onslaught has been perpetrated  toward them across India in the last 5 years. They have demanded re-polling in 464 booths and a free and fair polling in the upcoming, second phase of Tripura elections.
