This week's Daily Round Up talks about the latest on the NSSO survey on unemployment rate that shows a four decade high of 6.1% in 2017-18 and how the Government at the Centre tried to muzzle this data. In the meantime today saw two major protests in the Capital city, students and teachers protested against the 13-point roster system in the Universities. This 13 point roster is a casteist, exclusionary roster, which is likely to reduce reservation for the SC/ST and OBC candidates. Also today was the second day of the 9-day joint protest of farmers and ex-servicemen along with members of the civil society talking about the anti-people policies of this Government and the growing consent to hate crimes in the country.
