Eid, August 22, 2018, was another bloody day for Kashmir. Three police personnel were killed - Mohammad Yaqoob, Mohammad Ashraf and Fayaz Ahmad - by unknown gunmen. A BJP district president, Shabir Ahmad, was shot down too on the same day. This day marked the beginning of a dark phase for Kashmir, as this is the first time that killings of this nature occurred.
