Delhi Joins Global March for Science 2018

The protestors raised the issue of the modification of textbooks, continuing cuts in research funding, social injustices in the wake of Rohith Vemula’s death and other caste based-attacks, talking about how all of these are linked with an irrational thought process.

Responding to the global call for the March for Science, scientists, researchers, students and citizens took to the streets of Delhi to voice their discontent with the current regime and the increasing attacks on rational and scientific thought.
