On May 22, a DDA bulldozer rendered many families homeless in Delhi's Kasturba Nagar while the matter is still pending in the court. In 2022, the DDA issued an eviction notice to the residents of Kasturba Nagar, after which they together reached the Delhi High Court. As a result of this case, the people of Kasturba Nagar have got relief through a stay order and a prohibition on any further demolition for the time being.
