HIV/AIDS in India is an epidemic and as per NACO there are around 2.14 million people living with HIV/AIDS. LGBTQ people frequently avoid health care and experience discrimination in these settings. Discriminatory practices by healthcare providers can put their lives at risk through delays in immediate medical care.
