According to the Rajasthan HC judge Mahesh Chandra Sharma, peacocks don't mate peahens but sire off-springs with their tears. ‘Peacocks don’t have sex, they are celibate.’ India does not have a high literacy rate; that is something the world knows. However, when a High court judge makes a remark such as this, it is bound to shock you. Yes, that’s the level of science and knowledge our country’s educated lot have.
