Almost all the proprietors and the workers the team met with said that they are in a crisis as they are not getting enough work, making it difficult to earn their daily bread. They claimed that demonetisation and GST are the major reasons behind their situation. They are in dire need of help from the state and the central government. However, the Modi-led BJP government is busy hosting the US President Donald Trump.
