Cognizant Technology Solutions(CTS), a leading IT company in India has decided to terminate around 12,000 employees from their Indian workforce. Another major IT giant, Infosys which is of Indian origin, is also taking similar steps. The IT employees unions say that the cheap labour in India are providing the multinational IT companies with opportunities to maximise their profit. But when something goes wrong, the entire burden is shifted to the lower level employees and forcing them to quit from the companies. Several big IT companies have been following this process in the name of cost cutting, especially, in the last quarter of every year.
