For more than six months, Kashmiri Pandits who returned to the Valley under the rehabilitation scheme of 2008 have been protesting in Jammu against the government's refusal to transfer them to Jammu. They fear their lives are at risk in Kashmir and allege that the J&K administration has been indifferent to their concerns. A delegation of Kashmiri Pandits recently met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who was marching through J&K.
