Thousands of workers of the Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC) have been waiting for their salaries for the past 18 months. They allege that they are facing government neglect despite contribution to the success of the Chandrayaan mission. They say that the government is neither appointing a permanent managing director nor is modernising HEC.
