The outcome of the two-month-long Assembly election exercise is clear in the five states of UP, Uttarakhand, Goa, Manipur and Punjab. Though in UP, there’s still some time for absolute clarity in the voting trend as the final results for the 403-member House are not out yet. What is clear, however, is that BJP has returned in four states, while AAP has swept in Punjab, and Congress has faced a big setback.
