National Sports Awards 2020 saw 60 sportspersons receive the highest sporting honours in the country, the highest ever in a single year.
This year, on National Sports Day, the Sports Ministry awarded 60 sportspersons with the highest sporting honours of the country. It is the most number of awardees in a single year ever. Inevitably, questions have been raised about the omission of some candidates and the process of selection itself.
