Thousands of folk and performing artists in Tamil Nadu, since the lockdown due to the pandemic, are in distress . Performing Plays in public is the only source of livelihood for them. Since public gatherings and festivals are not allowed, these artists are not getting any opportunities to perform, and earn a living. NewsClick spoke to several of them ,while they were protesting in Chennai, against the neglect of the government. This video reveals their worries.
