Right to Privacy is a Fundamental Right: Quick Recap

"The right to privacy is protected as an intrinsic part of the right to life and personal liberty under Article 21 and as a part of the freedoms guaranteed by Part III of the Constitution" ─ Supreme Court judgement

The Supreme Court of India's Constitution Bench declared on Thursday that the Right to Privacy is a Fundamental Right. The issue of  privacy arose in the context of petitions against the Aadhaar (Unique Identification) project pushed by the Centre.
