Famous actor Naseeruddin Shah reached Ambedkar Park in Jhandapur on Safdar Hashmi Martyrdom Day. People's theatre group Jan Natya Manch was attacked during their street play 'Halla Bol' on  January 1, 1989, in which Safdar Hashmi and a labourer Ram Bahadur were murdered. Naseeruddin Shah said that Safdar Hashmi used to talk about the rights of workers and farmers, and his murder deeply traumatised the actor.
