Last month, the ten Central Trade Unions gave a nationwide call for a one-day general strike on November 26. In an interview to NewsClick, P. Abhimanyu, general secretary of BSNLEU, reiterated his ire over the delay in launching of BSNL’s 4G services. He claimed that eight employees’ unions and associations of the state-owned telecom service will be participating in the strike to protest against the insincerity of the Centre.
