Orijit Sen, the cartoonist has been raising the question of attacks on freedom of speech through his cartoons for more than a year now. Sen’s reaction on the curbing of freedom of expression took off after the pulping of Wendy Doniger’s book The Hindus. Here are some of his latest one on the growing intolerance and attack on pluralistic ethos of the nation. We are thankful to the Indian Writers' Forum for allowing us to reproduce them here.

Graphic artist, cartoonist, muralist and designer, Orijit Sen is the author of the graphic novel River of Stories as well as many other works of graphic fiction and non-fiction. He is one of the founders of People Tree – a collaborative studio and store for artists, designers and craftspeople. Sen is also Mario Miranda Chair Visiting Professor at Goa University.
