Students of Manipur Unite to Fight Against Oppressive Forces

Students of Manipur University protesting since 30th May, on 50th day called for state-wide protests on 17th July. Several Organisations gave call for Protest in Delhi on 18th July.

Under Pressure, Manipur state government approached MHRD to set up probe panel. Protestors rejected it claiming it is being headed by UGC and MHRD officials considered to be close to the VC. They are demanding a High level independent enquiry committee, or a probe panel headed by a retired High Court Justice.
