It has put up unusually tall banners and its campaign stars include the Prime Minister, Home Minister, and actors.' The ruling party has been claiming that it has brought development and a reduction in crime. However, tea garden workers in the State are among those dissatisfied with the BJP-led government. They claim that they are receiving low wages and that the government has withdrawn the sanction for medical expenses.
