NCERT recently announced changes in school text books. Extremely important writings, stories and poems have been removed from Hindi books. In an exclusive conversation with NewsClick, senior Hindi critic and writer, Sanjeev Kumar, says he sees a pattern in the changes in textbooks wherein an attempt has been made to pit Hindi against Urdu.
