At the 8th Summit of Americas (April 14, Lima, Peru), the Minister of External Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, in the words of Simón Bolívar said “the United States appears to be destined by providence to plague America [Latin] with misery in the name of liberty.” The Cuban Minister’s speech was in response to the statement by the Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence at the Summit.
