Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union organised a massive march to MHRD on February 20. Students participated in thousands, demanding removal of Vice Chancellor Jagadesh Kumar Mamidala. The students claim that the VC has been trying to systematically destroy the varsity. His policies, from seat cuts to decimation of reservations and deprivation points, scrapping GSCASH, and now compulsory attendance, have managed to rile up the students and teachers of the university.
