Yashwant Sinha speaks on the dissipating essence of democracy. He expresses concern over the current situation in the country where democracy is being uprooted. "The Marauding crowds are all over the place"  he says, "to destroy whatever comes in their way". Mr. Sinha emphasizes on the single minded purpose of the those ruling us, which is to root out all dissent. He questions the systematic attack on JNU. He further talks about how the space for dissent is shrinking and if not saved, it will not only threaten our democracy, but make it non-existent
