'Where Will Opposition MPs Speak if Not Parliament'

Eight Opposition members from Congress, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Trinamool Congress and Aam Aadmi Party were suspended for “unruly” behaviour in the upper House on Sunday, September 21, during the passage of two agriculture bills. Meanwhile, farmers across states, especially in Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra among others have been on the streets, demanding immediate withdrawal of the bills on agri trade that they say will hurt their livelihood and benefit corporate interests. NewsClick speaks with Rajya Sabha MPs of opposition parties and with an expert on the issue.
