Rahul Sankrityayan (1893-1963) was one of India's great thinkers and writers. It's been 60 years since he passed away. He was a polyglot who knew around 30 languages but wrote mainly in Hindi. Sankrityayan was an author-translator-editor who wrote approximately 125 books about society, religion and politics among other subjects.
