While on the one hand, the rich continue to swell their wealth reserves, more and more activists have been accused of sedition and labeled ‘anti-nationals’ on the other hand. Ahead of the polls, Tamil Nadu government has decided to scrap about 10 lakh cases filed under various sections. It is pertinent to ask then why were the cases filed in the first place.
