Democracy in India is facing a serious threat, as the Election Commission (EC) panders to the whims of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Following the violence in Kolkata during Amit Shah’s roadshow, the EC decided to curtail the campaigning even as it gave a window to PM Modi to conduct his political rallies. While the BJP is shedding crocodile tears over the violence, senior journalist Abhisar Sharma exposes the rot within the saffron party. He explains how freedom of expression has suffered the most under the Modi regime in this episode of ‘Bol Ke Lab Aazaad Hain Tere’.
